| What are your fee rates? |
| We do not have a fixed daily rate, but would work with you to understand the level of input you require from us, the volume of the work, timing, and the benefits we could bring. We would also endeavour to fit in with your budgets as far as possible, either as a daily rate or a fixed fee, based on a written proposal for an agreed scope of work. We obviously need to make a living, but we also share your values – a financial return is only one of the reasons why we do what we do. |

| How does the associate network operate? |
| There are no formal, contractual agreements between J Hill Associates and members of the network. We are a group of people who share similar values and have come together to make the most of opportunities to offer our skills to the third sector. You can contract directly with the network member of your choice. If a project requires a team of people, then we would agree with you at the outset the composition of the team and how it would be managed. The J Hill Associates web site provides a gateway to the range of skill sets and offerings that you could get from a large organisation coupled with advantages of working with small organisations who understand your needs. |

| How would we work together? |
| An initial meeting with you helps us to clarify needs and the areas in which we can help. We would then confirm the scope of our work and associated fees. Our approach is participative and based on transfering skills, so much of our work is carried out in the form of workshops, focus groups, interviews with key stakeholders, and working in partnership with people in your organisation to achieve the desired outcomes. We would hold regular reviews with you throughout, enabling us to agree changes in direction, scope or approach where necessary. |
