What will I gain from coaching?
Coaching enables you to get to where you want to be more quickly and more cleanly than you would on your own. It gives you the creative space to reflect, consider and explore your situation, thought processes and reactions; enabling you to make choices towards a life you love. You will become clearer about what you want, what is helping, and what is getting in the way by exploring practical options and ways of being that work for you. I will introduce models, tools and techniques and support you to apply these within your own context. You will develop new skills and become better at self-coaching and using a more coaching style when working with others. How would your life be with: It is your quest. I think the most important tools she has given me is my new ability to take criticism constructively and have faith in my abilities, whatever role it is that I am taking on.” Project manager, youth organisation “Jacqueline helped me to realise what was blocking my progress and helped me to analyse for myself what I needed to do to move on. My confidence had been severely shaken and she set me back on the path to self confidence again… I feel that with the coaching I not only survived … but I’m raring to continue my road to success. Thanks Jacqueline!” Senior Leader, Education sector

She was able to work well with my approach to coaching which can differ from session to session!” Manager, Ambition Institute “Jacqueline has a good ear for… the things that I wasn’t quite saying clearly, and the things that were at a less conscious level… I found it easier than with other coaches to bring up ideas about myself that I find distasteful and so was able to work on them. …. Following our work I have found myself just getting on with it, rather than worrying about what I should be doing so am finding my contributions (to the charity) more effective.” Charity Trustee “I have never used coaching before and was sceptical about how useful it would be … I was pleasantly surprised however about how useful the sessions were and the opportunity it gave me to reflect and gain new insight into my personal and professional development. I would recommend coaching to all professionals especially those who have contemplated it but thought ‘it’s not for me’. If you have the right coach which I feel I did it is really an amazing and valuable experience.” Team leader, mental health charity

How will we work together?
We'll start with a no-cost, no-obligation conversation to explore what you need at this time, whether coaching is the most appropriate support, and whether I am the right coach for you. If not I can recommend Associates who may be a better fit for what you want and who you are. A typical coaching programme starts with a 2-hour foundation session followed by up to six 1-hour face-to-face, telephone or internet sessions over 6-12 months, with between-session support by email. We will agree at the start the number of sessions and their frequency based on the outcomes you are looking for, reviewing progress and how the coaching is working for you at the mid-point and end of the programme. If your coaching is sponsored I can facilitate 3-way conversations to ensure that the sponsor input and relationships between the three of us are commonly understood throughout. I also coach single sessions where they relate to a specific issue such as interpreting feedback reports. It’s your quest. Our work together will act as a catalyst; uncovering your potential, guiding and supporting you to achieve your aims. “Jacqueline works in a very sensitive and straightforward way. She listened very carefully to understand what I wanted to get out of the coaching at every stage and carefully guided me through each session. She has a whole range of ideas and games and tools, and was very clear about how to use them to chart a way forward. Each second of each session was productive. She also kept checking her understanding of what was required. I was amazed at the way she was able to break big issues into smaller understandable problems I could deal with.” Senior Manager, WaterAid In addition to working one-to-one, I run small group workshops in Unconscious Bias, Reflective Practice and Change Management.
